The Sony UP-DR80 photo printer is Sony's newest professional dye-sublimation printer, providing event photographers, portrait studios and retailers a reliable solution for producing high quality digital photo prints.

The new printers features include the ability to output both glossy and ProMatte finishes, fast print speeds, and an advanced dye-sublimation process.
With a footprint of just 12.5 inches x 16.75 inches x 8.13 inches (W x D x H) and weighing only 25 lbs, the new printer is among the smallest and lightest full-page, dye-sublimation printers available today.

Sony photo printer functions
Using Sonys dye sublimation technology, the UPDR80 can print borderless 8x10 and 8x12-inch images, and it also supports multi-cut operation, producing 4x8-, 5x8- and 6x8-inch images.

The UPDR80 Sony professional photo printer uses paper-based media to render digital prints with a fine raster texture that is comparable to the look and feel of traditional photo paper.
The papers print surface is spooled inward on the roll to minimize contamination from dust and fingerprints, and to help eliminate curling of the roll, which results in lower paper waste.

Sony printer UP-DR80 features
The unit supports USB 2.0 connectivity to a Personal Computer or to any USB interfaced peripheral, and delivers optimal printing for high-resolution photography.
It comes equipped with an easy-to-use color adjustment feature that enables close matching of print colour to images displayed on the screen.
The Sony UP-DR80 professional digital photo printer ships with the software drivers necessary for Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems

	Great addition to my recently purchased CR20L
	This printer prints 8 x 10 and 8 x 12 really fast. I was amazed at how easy this printer is to get up and running. Loading the paper roll and toner is so easy. You can print high quality Glossy or Matte prints from this printer. I use this printer attached to the Sony Snap Lab UP-CR20L I can control all printing from the touch screen. I can also just attach it to my laptop aswell. I use this printer on location when shooting an event like pageants, dancesport, or ballet or dancing.
